HOW IT WORKS

On average, a facial can take between 30-90 minutes, depending on the type of facial.

Your facial will start with Skin Analysis. We will evaluate your skin type and any issues. This may involve visual inspection, touch, and sometimes advance tools like skin scanners. To ensure the treatment is tailored to your skin’s unique needs.

We then begin deep cleaning using specialized cleansers and steams to remove impurities from the skin’s surface and pores. This prepares the skin for subsequent treatments and improves the products absorption.

Exfoliants are the next step to remove the dead skin cells. Methods of removal include mechanical (scrubs, microdermabrasion, chemical (alpha beta hydroxy acids), or enzymatic (natural enzymes). This promotes cell turnover, smooths texture, and brightens the complexion.

You can expect little to no downtime for most facials.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is a gentle exfoliation treatment that removes dead skin cells and fine vellus hair, often called “peach fuzz,” from the skin’s surface. Using a medical-grade scalpel, a trained professional carefully glides the blade across the skin, revealing a smoother, brighter, and more radiant complexion. This treatment enhances skincare product absorption, allowing serums and moisturizers to penetrate more effectively for maximum benefits. It also helps reduce the appearance of fine lines, uneven skin tone, and minor imperfections, leaving the skin feeling incredibly soft and refreshed. Suitable for most skin types, dermaplaning is a quick, painless, and non-invasive way to achieve instantly glowing skin with no downtime.

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive skin rejuvenation treatment that gently exfoliates the outer layer of dead skin cells to reveal a brighter, smoother, and more youthful complexion. This treatment stimulates collagen production, helping to improve skin texture, reduce fine lines, and minimize pores for a healthy, refreshed glow.

Nano-Needling

Nanoneedling is a non-invasive, pain-free skin treatment that enhances your skin’s natural ability to absorb nutrients while stimulating collagen production for a smoother, firmer, and more radiant complexion. Using ultra-fine nano-sized needles, this treatment creates microscopic channels on the skin’s surface, allowing for deeper penetration of serums and active ingredients.

Unlike traditional microneedling, nanoneedling does not penetrate deeply into the skin, making it a perfect option for those looking for a gentle, no-downtime skin rejuvenation treatment. This technique is ideal for improving skin tone, texture, and hydration while leaving you with an instant glow.

Microneedling

Microneedling is a minimally invasive skin rejuvenation treatment designed to improve texture, tone, and overall skin health. Using a specialized device with ultra-fine needles, tiny microchannels are created in the skin, stimulating the body's natural collagen and elastin production. This process enhances firmness, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, and helps improve the appearance of scars, stretch marks, and hyperpigmentation.

As the skin heals, it becomes smoother, plumper, and more radiant. The treatment also enhances the absorption of skincare products, allowing them to penetrate deeper for maximum effectiveness. Microneedling is safe for most skin types and requires little downtime, making it a popular choice for those looking to achieve youthful, refreshed skin naturally. Whether targeting acne scars, sun damage, or signs of aging, microneedling offers long-term benefits by strengthening and revitalizing the skin from within.

Plasma Skin Tightening

Plasma skin tightening is a non-surgical, minimally invasive treatment that rejuvenates and lifts the skin by stimulating collagen and elastin production. This advanced procedure uses a plasma pen to deliver a controlled arc of energy to the skin’s surface, creating micro-injuries that trigger the body’s natural healing response. As the skin repairs itself, it tightens, firms, and becomes more youthful in appearance.

This treatment effectively reduces fine lines, wrinkles, sagging skin, and imperfections such as scars and stretch marks. Commonly used on areas like the eyelids, jawline, neck, and around the mouth, plasma skin tightening offers long-lasting results with minimal downtime. Over the following weeks, as collagen continues to rebuild, the skin gradually lifts and firms, revealing a smoother, more youthful complexion.

LED Light Therapy

LED light therapy is a non-invasive skincare treatment that uses varying wavelengths of light to target specific skin concerns and promote overall skin health. This gentle yet effective treatment penetrates the skin at different depths, stimulating collagen production, reducing inflammation, and enhancing cellular repair.

Red light therapy is commonly used for its anti-aging benefits, helping to improve elasticity, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and promote healing. Blue light therapy targets acne-causing bacteria, reducing breakouts and calming inflammation. Other wavelengths, such as yellow and green, help with pigmentation, redness, and overall skin rejuvenation.

Safe for all skin types, LED light therapy is painless, requires no downtime, and can be used as a standalone treatment or combined with other skincare procedures for enhanced results. With regular sessions, it helps improve skin tone, texture, and clarity, revealing a brighter, healthier complexion.

FAQs

  • • Please arrive with clean, makeup-free, skin so that we may complete the consultation.

    • Avoid NSAIDS (i.e. Ibuprofen®, Advil®, Motrin®, Aleve®, Celebrex®), Fish oil, Gingko Biloba, St. John’s Wort and high doses of Vitamin E for one week prior to appointment.

    • Avoid Retin-A, Tretinoin, and Retinoids for three days prior to injection.

    • Avoid drinking alcohol for 24 hours prior to injection.

    • Clients who are pregnant or nursing may not be eligible for all treatment types.

  • The extraction and exfoliation portions can be uncomfortable to some clients. Your technician will monitor how you are feeling the entire treatment. Topical numbing agents can be utilized to lesson discomfort.

  • One of the things that makes facials so great is there's little downtime. We ask that you give your skin 24 hours with no make-up is possible, and no excessive sweating.

  • Results can be seen immediately after treatment and will get better over the course of 2-3 days. Monthly treatment is usually ideal for most skin tones.

  • • Speaking of harmful UV rays, you should always protect your skin from sun damage, but especially after a facial. Try to avoid direct sun exposure for a few days after your treatment. If you must go outside, practice sun-safe habits like wearing a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 (50+ preferred) and a wide-brimmed hat.

    • While hyaluronic acid does a great job of hydrating your skin from the outside, don’t forget to stay hydrated from the inside. Hydration is essential for maintaining your skin's elasticity and radiance. It also helps your body flush out toxins and improves blood flow, which contributes to clearer skin.

    • If you can manage, plan to keep your face bare after a facial and skip the makeup. This gives your skin a chance to breathe and recover. Your pores will likely still be open and vulnerable after all the steaming and cleansing, so applying makeup may lead to irritation, clogging, or future breakouts.

    • Physical activity is undoubtedly important for your overall health. But try not to overdo it after a facial. Intense workouts (and hot yoga!) can lead to excessive sweating, which can irritate skin or clog pores. Sweating can also remove any serums that your esthetician may have applied during the facial.

    • Though your facial may have included some steaming, you should avoid any direct heat to your skin afterward, which can cause swelling and redness to your vulnerable skin. Steam rooms and saunas also make you sweat, potentially leading to those clogged pores we mentioned earlier.
